Ready for some football?? Denmark vs. Sweden

Tomorrow, Friday 11. November, Denmark will welcome Sweden to a friendly match of football in Parken. Parken is the national stadium of Denmark and it's situated on Østerbro in Copenhagen. Parken has a long tradition for national football and the Danish National Team has played at the stadium since 1912. The roar from 38.000 jubilant spectators is something you will always remember and there is only one stadium in Denmark where you can experience this, namely: PARKEN.

Denmark and Sweden are in many ways very similar countries - but when it comes to football the meeting with these two opponents always turns into a real rival showdown. The audience of this match can expect a really intense and entertaining showdown - mostly about honour, where both teams will do their best to win.

And also a reason for the girls to watch this match: Young, good looking men playing football - who can resist? Especially we like Christian Eriksen... who by the way was elected player of the year last monday.. Impressing, huh?

Awwww, isn't he cute??? Good looking and talented... AMEN!
Tickets to the match are available here: http://www.billetnet.dk/event/Danmark-Sverige-billetter/PARK1111
Who are you guys cheering on?
We know for sure who we are cheering on........

What can I do on this grey and boring Wednesday?

We know! :)

It's perfect weather for a cinema visit. And why not do it in Imperial, the biggest cinema in the whole of Scandinavia?

Imperial is situated in the heart of Copenhagen; just a few meters away from Vesterport Station in Inner City. Imperial shows a long list of movies everyday. Why not check out Steven Spielberg's newest adventure movie, "The adventures of Tintin" which can be seen in the amazing 3D?

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Halloween

Everbody likes it a bit spooky!

Halloween is a relatively new tradition in Denmark, but in the latest years it has become a very popular event to celebrate. Today you’ll be able to see Jack-o'-lanterns, carved pumpkins, at most houses’ doorsteps and even one of Denmark’s most visited tourist attraction, Tivoli, has made it a tradition to celebrate Halloween. Actually it is probably one of the best places in Denmark to get in the right mood for Halloween. In Tivoli you’ll find cruel witches, loads of creatively carved pumpkins and a lot of spooky activities. It is said that there even are some haunted attractions!
Today is the last chance!
Enjoy!

A culture heritage turns 40 !!

On its birthday, Christiania could not only boast of a wonderful "Copenhagen" weather, but also of being a complete unique little society which we don't see anywhere else. We went to Christiania on its birthday and the atmosphere was just amazing!! :) People were sitting totally relaxed around you and were very freindly to us. So dropping by this wonderful place in Copenhagen will not be a waste of time.

wft?

Yesterday was a record-breaking day in Denmark!! The 1. of October 2011 will be written into the history books, not only as the warmest October day ever measured, but also as the first summer-day in October and the latest summer-day ever in Denmark!

At the same time, the Philippines is for the second time in just one week hit by a severe typhoon causing damages and floods. More than 50 people died.

Wft????
Hello global warming! Is it just us, or has the weather gone crazy?

WUHU nice weather :)

Autumn in Denmark at the moment isn't as bad as we could have expected. The weather forecast promises sun throughout the week. It's a chance to enjoy the sun and the rest of what's left of the summer... Soo it means.. Outdoor activities!! :) For example you can grab your bike and take a trip alongside the coast following Strandvejen, where you can end in Dyrehaven (a big forest-park in the North of Copenhagen).

A bike trip (or walk) around in the forest is an amazing and special experience. The nature, the sounds, the animals and the atmosphere make the experience outstanding.
But watch out! The male deers are rutting at the moment and they are roaring out weird noices to attract and impress the female deers. Good luck guys! ;)
